Principal Use
- Anaerobic pond in the POME treatment can be boosted with the presence of continuous homogenization/mixing significantly. The purpose of the mixing is three folded; (1) To allow the maximum reaction rate of BOD with the anaerobic bacteria, (2) To increase the effective retention time of lagoon by avoiding short-circuiting of hydraulic flow across the lagoon.
With the installation of submersible mixer, significant lagoon performance is assured, BOD reduction is increased.
